The hard part for me is that what DCC brings is so next level. The characters are what drive the story, and their relationship to each other. The horror of what they go through and what they become is offset by how they support each other and what they will do for each other.
This one is about the built up 9th floor, so it has a lot of craziness in it. That is really about the one thing about this book is that so much happens that it is easy to lose track of some of them. Still a good reason to listen to it twice.
It also has many many moments with all of the feels. I found myself laughing, crying and cheering throughout. Also have to give props to Jeff on the narration. He is literally the best narrator hands down. Matt’s words with Jeff’s narration is just magic.
