After devouring Jack Hunt’s ‘Final Impact’, I immediately downloaded two of this other books. This being one. It’s a decent listen but I can see where it may get better in a follow-on book. I think sometimes series books have these highs and lows… one book amazing, another just okay as it builds the story, next book great, etc. I ended this book thinking that the next might be good. I wouldn’t say I was disappointed in it at all… I just felt it was missing something.
On a side note, as I live in the Adirondacks… it was really nice to finally have a book talk about my neck of the woods and being able to visual places I’d actually been to. The author did a decent job of describing what the little towns are like up here.
