The reader sounded very nasally to me. The portrayal of Wavy, even into her teenage years, the narrator still talked in a baby like voice which I found super annoying. I also couldn’t wrap my head around the story, which was made worse by the narrator. A love story about what was clearly a rape, whether any of the characters would admit it or not. Not overly impressed by this book at all. Check for triggers.
