Although the plots and story lines are feasible, some of the specifics are lacking in believability. I was reminded on more than one occasion of a super-spy movie plot where rather than attacking the hero as a group, the bad guys just line up to be dispatched by the good guy. Also, I would assure you that the Chi-com military has evolved to be a far more capable force than what is described here. The books were entertaining, but lacking in believable specifics.
