Would you listen to Defiance again? Why?
Probably not. Mostly because I didn’t enjoy the reader. I just could never get comfortable with his voice & pace. The story is OK but the narration made me lose interest. Just my opinion.
What did you like best about this story?
It’s an interesting take on the “end of the world virus” story. He goes in a different direction with the locals & townspeople. It keeps you interested.
What three words best describe Kevin Pierce’s voice?
John Wayne-ish. Airy. Slow.
Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?
Not really.
Any additional comments?
It’s a good book with a good story. I’m actually thinking about getting it and reading it myself. As I said, the narrator just wasn’t for me.
