Pros:
– good story progression
– nice and long (I like)
– definitely worth listening to assuming you have come this far in the series.

Cons:
– narrator frequently intones/emphasizes the dialog of the characters differently than I expect (and would assume different than the author intended) and I get distracted restating the dialog the way the character really would say it.
– too much time spent with the “real world” story. I read/listen to LitRPG for the game story content. Seems like half of the book deals with the regulatory board hearing and “trial”. The real world interaction between Jason and Riley and Allec with his love interest is good, but the hearing/trial stuff was too long.
– I know it’s time consuming to crank out this much content, but there are certain phrases that are used ad nauseam. In this book it was “eyes wide”, “eyes widening”, “eyes widened” usually in surprise or shock. This has to have been used over 100 times in this book. Any other creative/diverse description please? “Surprise etched on her face”? Prior books had similar issues with “fingers dancing across the keyboard” or “milky white eyes” of the undead. And you know every single time Jason is done using custom skeleton, he will “slam his fists down on the control panel” to cast the spell. Please just spend a few minutes on more diverse phrases?

But I’m still looking forward to the next installment. 😉
