The MC is likable and the pop culture references actually have a pretty good canonical explanation. Even if you don’t get all the references, it’s still a fun read. I’m still not sure how I feel about the Die Hard With A Vengeance reference.
I see what you did with the Piranha Check, it was very noobish. … but I think the Tuna reference was too far, chicken of the sea indeed.
