When a woman stops Lazarus on the way home he does what most of us do when we have a hot date and blows her off. When he shows up for work the next day and finds her crushed on his doorstep and becomes the prime suspect he regrets it. Now he has to find the killer before the cops find him.
This is one of the literary heirs to Harry Dresden without being too derivative. Engaging characters, an exciting plot, great narration, and good world building make this a story worth reading.
I was given a copy of this audiobook in exchange for an honest review.
