This is an action packed drug cartel romance. It has what you would expect in this intense story. 2 Mexican cartels, at war , one is trying to move in on the Carrera cartel. Missing drug shipments, explosions, murder, betrayal, kidnapping, torture, and so much going on. Eden becomes a stronger woman when she is with Valentin. He is intrigued by her. She doesn’t make him weaker, she completes him. I couldn’t believe how great this story is. This is the first book I listened to by Cora Kenburn. And it did not disappoint. I can’t wait for the next one.
Brian Pallino, Sarah Puckett , Alan Carlson are outstanding narrators. Their performance was fantastic, telling the story with such emotion. They bring the angst, raw emotion and personality to each character.
