This is an excellent lesson. I only realized 3/4 of the way through that it’s actually part of the traveler series. It’s an excellent stand-alone novel, with excellent narration.
It is dark, and I sent some echoes of Cormac McCarthy’s the road. It’s a fresh take on this genre, and I recommend it.
