River was the clan alpha, saw Darius and decided he was his, an instant connection. Darius lost his great love, who was a woman. When his love died, he fell apart drinking. Now he is in survival mode and doing better. He is falling for River but does not want to betray her memory. It was a shame when Darius’ son was kidnapped and how he got hurt. This was a very well written MM romance.
Again, Gary Bennett did a very good job with the narration of all three books in the Bears of Southoak series. I received this free copy audiobook a my request and have voluntarily left this review.
