Snickerdoodles? Mara was considering purchasing a bakery for a good portion of the story, so I guess that would be it. It was a good cozy mystery. Not to intense or serious. Mara was traveling around after being widowed and quitting her job, looking for something different in life. She saw a bakery for sale in Danger Cove and started to explore the town more and thinking seriously about purchasing the bakery. She meets Blake who owns rental properties in town. Someone is vandalizing his properties and hurting people. Mara takes it upon herself to solve the mystery. I listened while taking my walks and it made the time go by. As for the narrator, I sometimes had a hard time distinguishing between female characters but over all she did a pretty good job. I would consider listening to more in the series.
