What made the experience of listening to Palm Beach Poison the most enjoyable?
I enjoy books that use location as part of the story. Different plots than the norm. And interesting Good and Bad Guys. “Palm Beach Poison” incorporates these elements.
Did the plot keep you on the edge of your seat? How?
The plot develops at a fast pace. You won’t grow complacent!! I do commiserate with Tom Turner politically, but the included political commentary detracts from the work. In my opinion, anyway.
Which character – as performed by Phil Thron – was your favorite?
Crawford and Otto. However, I look at the performance as a whole. In that regard, the performance raised the writing up.
Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?
It worked out with breaking it up into three or four sittings.
Any additional comments?
Thanks for the opportunity to listen and offer my opinions on this work!
