As Our World Falls is a great continuation from the first in the series As Our World Ends. If you haven’t read the first you should definitely listen to it first. It picks up where the last book left off following Alex, Sophie, Ryan and their group as they try to get to California to meet up with their daughter Elisha. The power grid has come down and survival is now in doubt throw into the mix mysterious drones that are trying to kill you, a group that seems to offer safety but is a bit cultish, gangs and more, there is plenty to keep you entertained. The story switches between the different groups, i.e. Alex, Sophie, Ryan and gang and then to Elisha and Garcia in California and others.
The narration by Kevin Pierce is excellent as always, He is one of my favorite narrators, I think I could listen to him read a phone book and enjoy it.
If you like Post Apocalyptic books then I think you will definitely enjoy this, there are no zombies which some people love and some people hate. I can’t wait to listen to the next in the series.
