This was a cute mystery. The main character is very a likeable woman ready to get a restart on life when murder gets in the way. I loved the way Watson and Fred team up to find out who is responsible for delaying the bookshop opening. The story took a little while to get into but over all it was a very enjoyable mystery with some lighthearted parts. The narrator was just ok for me; it was really just the whinny voice Fred had that made it less than 4 stars. I will surely check out the next book in this series to see what Fred and Watson get into next. I received this book for free for an honest review.
