I loved the imagery in this book Cruel Candy by Mildred Abbott. Having spent summers in Estes Park I could envision the shops so well, along with Glen Haven and the Big Thompson Canyon, and the road to Lyons. The recipe at the end of the book sounded so good too. Angie Hickman was the perfect narrator for this clean cozy listen. Fred and Watson are quite the pair. I so want to hear more books with their adventures in Estes Park. I enjoyed how they were starting their lives over. This book is a standalone listen and the start of something new. I requested this review copy audiobook and have voluntarily written this review. I will definitely listen to more books by this author and narrator.
