Cruel Candy was a nice start to this series. The characters were realistic and some were even funny and made me laugh. Fred was a likable character who I’m sure many women can identify with. She’s just your average girl with spunk…. and her sidekick, Watson, who can resist a cute little loyal pet? For any dog lover, Watson was irresistible. I have listened to Angie Hickman before and always enjoy her performances. She has a very good range of character voices, she’s upbeat and easy for me to listen too.
