I really enjoyed listening to this audio book narrated by Lucinda Gainey. She did an excellent job with the different characters throughout the story. Sheilagh and Alec was a cute love story. Their age gap wasn’t too far apart in this as student and teacher relationship as it would be too taboo. I loved the banter between Sheilagh and pretty much every one else except Alec. She was feisty, but saved her vulnerability and softer side for him. This book is part of a larger series, even though it’s referenced multiple times about the rest of Sheilagh’s family you do not necessarily need to read the previous books to be caught up.
