Cruel Lies is the first book in the Cruel Secrets series. This book is about Caspian Ivanov and Willow Raventhorn and is told from both of their points of view. Caspian and Willow were the best of friends as kids, but something happened that tore them apart.
When something happens Willow is sent to live in an asylum. Now she is out and she is trying to find the answers to what really happened, even though no one believes her.
Caspian is getting ready to join the knighthood while attending Raventhorn University, and he finds out Willow is also attending. He does not make it easy for her. He wants to get back at her for what happened in the past.
I really enjoyed this story. There were so many twists and turns I didn’t see coming. Secrets and lies. I am excited to continue on this series to see what happens next!
