This is not your typical dytopian novel, sure some of it’s things you’d expect, smaller populations inhabitable large cities, walls around towns and some people intent of taking advantage of the situation. However in this book, things aren’t really ‘that’ bad, there’s lots of hope and most people re doing OK.
There’s a lot of humor in this book although the setting is often quite bleak. Both the world and the characters are well developed, it’s well written and some of the creatures and situations are unique and creative.
The narration is well done, particularly the character voices, and the delivery is well paced and works well with the story.
I received a free copy of this book from the author and/or narrator and/or publisher and I voluntarily wrote this honest review.
