I love those books where the main character is the villain, especially because it’s so rare. The author creates a great cast of characters. He fleshed them all out, and all of the characters had depth and motivations. I really enjoyed how he united them as a group. The story is original and kept me engaged the entire book. The action starts early and keeps up throughout the novel. The narration team was absolutely fantastic with this book. I don’t typically listen to multi-cast books with sounds effects, music, etc., but it was really well done with this book. Overall, between the story and the narration, this was a great book, and I’m really looking forward to book two. Definitely worth a listen.
