I loved seeing Mal and company again. Mal was a great supporter and friend for Nick. Tom’s parents were evil soulless mercenary vipers! I liked how quickly Tom, Nick, and Sam bonded and found their connections. The beating scene enraged me! I was disappointed that Tom couldn’t man up sooner and marry Nick to protect him as soon as he found out Nick was pregnant again!!! It could have saved Nick from a beating and Tom’s evil parents. It really upset me that many fellow seals tried to talk Tom into excusing Nick’s attacker’s actions. I am losing my mind over that!!! Blind idiots! Two wrongs don’t make one right! Publicity or not, he should have had a dishonorable discharge. Period! All the cover ups infuriated me. Great ending, but I would have passed on the money and went for prosecution. I experienced a myriad of emotions listening to this and had many laughs, and some tears. This is a long listen, but the time flew by because I was so engrossed in the story and the narrator’s voice. The narrator was excellent with voices and expressions. I voluntarily listened to a free copy of this story and am giving an honest review.
