The author writes his female characters as weak and stupid. Very disappointing. I should’ve know, given the title. Shame on me. I love apocolyptic books, and it stated out pretty good, but he makes Olivia out to be a complete dimwit, when according to the story, she had also been a prepped with her husband. Lame, really lame. I’m sure it gets better, but I couldn’t bear the stereotypical, weak-ass characters.
