After 5-6 hours into it, I couldn’t keep going. First, narrator has a good voice but read so slow I had to turn up speed by the end of chapter 1. Second, the characters. The hero of the book can do no wrong. The victims are all ignorant and naïve. But what really bugged me was all the antagonists were people who wore ‘white tank tops’ and had ‘jail tattoos’ or ‘chewed smokeless tobacco’. It’s like the author couldn’t find another way to describe them.
The prepper info was good and accurate. Just couldn’t keep going.
