Joel Leslie’s performance is always perfect and really adds a lot to the story! I could listen to it on repeat.
As for the story itself, it’s one of my favourites by NR Walker. It’s a slow burn romance, but you can feel the anticipation and all associated emotions (especially with Joel’s narration). It’s about trust, taking chances and hope.
My heart broke for CJ and his story, but I really loved how Noah had helped him navigate through all the things that needed to be done so CJ could find some kind of validation in his life. The two were perfect for each other so the ending – however sweet and lovely – was not a surprise 🙂
