- Is there anything you would change about this book?
- While the characters have more depth than some other space-opera books I have read, there is not much variety in the characterization.
- What didn’t you like about Jeffrey Kafer’s performance?
- Macho male characters are almost indistinguishable from his narration voice. Non-macho male characters pretty much all sound like the same young man. Female characters sound the same as the non-macho male characters. The only time you can tell much of a difference between characters, is when he decides to give them a bit of an accent.
- Any additional comments?
- Not as good as the first book in the series, but still good enough to finish it. If Jeffrey Kafer is going to be the narrator though, I will likely skip the audio books for the rest of the series.
