This book is pretty meaty, but a lot of the extra POVs could have been trimmed down, especially since they are POVs of characters that really have nothing to do with the overall story. It could be the four year wait it took to get here, I understand the author had some personal issues during that time, but it felt like he was padding for extra pages in an effort to make it up to the readers, I’m fine with a lengthy story but I really prefer it we just got to the point.
