To begin with I will say that i managed to finish it but that was mainly a desire to be done with it. I got it cheep on sale so its not exactly a waist but I would not recommend it above $5.
The story was annoying in that eye roll “of course that happened” kind of way. Every character starts out as a rival or advisory to the MC until he gets one step above them and then they all start falling to their knees crying about how they believed in him the whole time except those that are just pure a-holes or who he never ends up out ranking. along with that he his given to power for absolutely nothing and even had the plan from the very beginning of the book for it. But it feels like he is always complaining about how weak he is or having his Harem telling him how hard he worked for it. he straight up takes someone else’s hard work and the characters say “im not going to complain that you just high jacked my greatest achievement”.
The Narrator while he had a nice voice and more spirit than other characters wasnt very good at doing more than a hand full of voices and constantly mispronounced words, or perhaps its correct where he comes from but after the 5th out of like 50 of hearing him say synergy wrong i was just done.
