The narration is great, the story and writing felt week or artificial. the way certain parts of the story’s past are referenced feels like an AI wrote it, and the action is lazy. They are facing superpowered baddies and they basically just b-ch slap them and it’s over no real fight or danger. I’ve read/listened to all three and this last one was a real slog. if more books come out I would problly listen. but only if I had absaloutly nothing else I was interested in reading or listening. sound booth effects are allways welcome but kinda in short supply in this one.
