King of Corium (Corium University, Book 1) is explicitly dark romance that is difficult to listen to certain parts. I was intrigued from the prologue and at the cliffhanger ending I was very intrigued. I didn’t enjoy a portion of the story which is why I only gave it four stars instead of five.

I did really like Aspen’s character very much. She is a compelling character. Quinton is a enigmatic character who’s “fantasy” did not sit well with me. I’m still on the fence with his character redeeming qualitys. I did like the aspect of Quentin grieving, which os one of the reasons for his ruthless behavior. My favorite supporting character is the librarian (I forget her name). The plot is addictive and I can’t wait to listen to book two in this new adult dark bully college romance .

Zara Eden, Connor Brown dual narration was purely ambrosian. I was transfixed by the voices. Zara’s sweet and spicy tone was perfect portrayal of Aspen. Connor became the character and enveloped himself into the role.
