I was given this free review copy audio book at my request and have voluntarily left this review.
So, I am a HUGE zombie genre fan. I will often seek out books like this. I thought having zombie halfbreeds was a really cool take on the genre. That being said, I thought this book should have been much longer. It really felt like background and setup for the series and it felt unfinished to me. It had enough, though, to make me want the next book in the series so I can find out more about Penelope and Tom.
