Confused by the ending, but otherwise terrific.

I can never say enough about how original Jeremy Robinson is. Also, I appreciate how he develops characters as well and how inclusive his characters almost always are when it comes to the choices a writer can make about the primary characters in a story.

However, I thought it could have had a better ending because I felt (and others will disagree with me on this) it did not represent equally functional and realistic alternatives.
