This story is so far-fetched and implausible that the only thing worse than the plot is the terrible narration. I couldn’t stand the story or the narrator by the halfway point, and I really gave the book more of a chance than I should have. If you like the fantasy crime genre with a narrator who sounds like they are on the brink of a nervous breakdown, then check this out. Otherwise, save your money. I’m definitely requesting a refund on this one.
