This is the third box set I have enjoyed by Mark Goodwin. The characters are developed to a point that the reader is thoroughly invested in them prevailing through their struggles. If Mark’s books don’t provide you a deep understanding the need to be prepared for just about anything, then I can’t imagine anything that will.
