- What did you love best about Cold Kill?
- There is really never anything to ‘love’ about a true crime killer tale. But, this was easy to follow and listen to and actually finished it in less than three days.
- What was one of the most memorable moments of Cold Kill?
- I enjoyed Theresa and the lengths she went to in order to trap a killer, even when her co-workers and police had little to no faith in her.
- What does Kevin Pierce bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?
- Mr. Pierce never disappoints in his story narration. He is consistent, brings characters to life and does something to compel the listener to stay engaged and want to listen just a little longer.
- What’s the most interesting tidbit you’ve picked up from this book?
- That perhaps our system is remiss in identifying persons troubled by mental disorders. Cindy was obviously disturbed early on and continued to become worse in her delusions and convincingly relating these delusions to others as pure truth. Her condition emboldened her to convince her lover to help her dispose of her imagined problems. Her sisters, as well as her mother and father later, were aware of Cindy’s issues but did nothing to encourage her to obtain help.
- Any additional comments?
- I really wanted more of this story/book. I would like to have known about the trial and if the two were ever remorseful .
I was given this audible book at no charge for my true and unbiased review.
