Lived in Colorado my entire life, visited these places many times, and having worked in two of the three facilities named in this book, I: 1) Can’t believe I’ve never heard of this guy, and 2) Get chills as this story paints a picture so familiar and real. I love true crime and I’m so excited to have found this book! I could pick on the narrator for mispronouncing (at least to my ear) the name of a couple places, but overall, his delivery is smooth and entrancing. I’m now on the second complete listen, with having relistened to many parts on multiple occasions because I didn’t want to miss anything. Not a whodunit, but more a true superhero story, where you’re just not sure if the good guy will win, especially since that’s not always how things end in the real world….
