Kristina (Kris) is looking for a full time job…interviews with Alexander Stone who becomes obsessed with her and she with him.
They spend a majority of this book fighting their attraction..talking how he is bad for her, she knows he’s bad for her but they go forward into a BDSM relationship…he’s into it to control his anger issues for a terrible childhood…she has been abused herself and you can’t help but wonder why she lets him do so of the things he does…but she does fight it. But really this is a man who has a bondage bed with a St. Andrews ross…dreams of beating her to death (with someone else’s hands) and yet is hurt when she leaves before morning…the back and forth went on longer than I think was necessary.
This is part one of a trilogy with book two out, not the audio and part three in January. This is hard for me…as i think this story is going to be dragged out way too long…but I will want to know the resolution, so need the next two books ☹️
Narrators…they are ok, but just not the voices I would imagine either character having..so they did a good job,,,just didn’t seem quite right.
