This is the first book of the series, that the Audible voice jumped in at the end with the, thank you for listening etc etc, and I was confused because the story wasn’t resolved.
Yes the H and h reunite, Sparks fly, rescues happen… but the main issue of the East vs West in this book is completely ignored. No insinuation that it’ll be finished in the upcoming books, unless the point is the home country will sorry itself out without the alliance… it was weird. And then there’s red ship guy (sorry can’t remember the name now), I assume he comes in later, but there’s no real way to know.
Enjoy it as a romantic bit, and knowing Taylor as an adult. but that’s about it.
