I loved this book. It kept me guessing until the end. There was more than one murder so that made it even more interesting. Just when I thought I knew who the killer was, something would happen to change my mind.
Another layer of fun was the mystery of Verity’s missing aunt. I say missing, but she has been declared dead. There’s something secret about her life. This is an ongoing background mystery that we find out more pieces of as the story progresses. I hope one day we find out she’s alive and what’s going on. I love this.
The narrator was excellent. I wasn’t crazy about the rooster and cat sound imitations but at the same time, they cracked me up.
