Such a fun story idea, but the characters’ lack of logic, reason is stunning!!! If we can get an adult with military experience to advise the author, we’d have an amazing series! But we don’t, so this book is as frustrating as it is sad.
Zero understanding of any kind of tactics, or strategy. Zero foresight, planning, or worst of all, ability to learn from past mistakes.
The EXACT same stupid mistakes made by “elite minds” in the first book are made in the 2nd, but in SPADES!!
