I just love this story, I read it and Now have the Audible – Ethan, a severely hearing impaired young man from the states – gets a shock on the eve of his wedding – fast forward to the honeymoon he decides to take by himself. Ethan takes a tour that had been pre-arranged in Australia – meets up with Clay – a tour guide/driver. They end up finding common ground. All sounds very ordinary but the tough part is so many of these stories sound so contrived, not so with Honeymoon for one – the writing is excellent, not embellished with lots of information you don’t need – and yet you have the Deep feelings of what these two are going through inside… Ethan coming off heartbreak of what he thought he knew his life was going to be, Clay, a divorced father of two with no life really outside of his job, as a bus tour driver/guide… both kind, both of these guys will pluck your heart strings… I highly recommend this book, you won’t want to put it down, and the Audible is narrated beautifully by Joel Leslie – and he makes a 5 star book an 8 star with his performance. Thanks Keira, you have taken the May December genre and given it honesty, depth and heart. I look forward to your books like this one – It really felt true.
