Right off the bat this book is bad and only getting worse the more I think about it.This book is not worth your credit don’t get it,With that said on to the review.
I will never understand why book writers think having a MC, who is a wet noodle in both body and spirit. Who then orders people with super power,and they follow his orders because reasons.This is the leave of writing you are dealing with when you are reading this book. The MC is so A morale that it’s unreal (spoilers like you should care) so the two woman’s you see on the cover are government experiments to make super soldier and they look like supermodel because… (shut up).But the experiments meant they lived in solitary confinement for most of there live. Now free they will go and destroy all laboratory the were doing the experiments killing any civilian scientist in there way, are heroes ladies and gentlemen. Buy the way, one of the main girls ( who has mind control powers and has brain washed people be for) tells the MC that they were going to kill them because the next generation was going to be the super soldier they wanted. Take this with a mountain of salt because mind control girl has lied or hidden the truth from the MC multiple time.
That is the story in a nutshell MC finds girl they go out to destroy all laboratory that were experimenting on them.Because it’s not like hard drives or the internet exist to store all of this data right.. oh what.Back to the wet noddle that is the MC, who is the every man MC who never wanted or need adventure but takes up the call because killing 100 if not 1000 seem like a good reason to add purpose to his life.(this is no lie he does all of this because he wants reason in his life) The MC has no powers and zero other skills but one writing book,wait for it (it get’s better).He helps out by writing a book about there adventure and of course it’s a best seller.It was at this moment in the story that I realized that this story is self insert fanfiction. No matter how you look at it this story is nothing but wish fulfillment, and if you think there is going to be a hot a steaming 50 shade of grey bits in the story think again.It’s nether hot or steaming more like it happen and one changes. The girl who has never know love, at last finds someone who care for her. does she change nope, the MC who is not very confident change nope. Nothing changes and for the main girl (the one with mind control) who lived in solitary confinement her whole life for 22 Year! don’t form attachment to the MC at all. (Cool makes sense) There are so many more things wrong with this story please don’t waste your good credits on this book.
P.S the performance was good 4 stars, but a 4 star performance should not change the overall rating of this book most audible books performance are 4 to 5
