The book starts out OK, about an hour into it there were times it made me cringe with how cheesy the set ups were. Characters are perfect puzzle pieces with the exact skill sets they need. Any adversity the characters face is good buys vs. bad guys. Couldn’t finish it. I’m a huge fan of apocalyptic fiction but this is not about that at all. It’s a good buys vs. bad guys story and has no basis in what would really happen in this scenario. Always a fan of Kevin Pierce, but not even his voice could keep me interested in this book. I question the gaming of audibles rating system now, 4.8 start? That 3.8 stars too high in my ratings.
