This was a funny, heartwarming story between two men who’ve struggled with either family or past lovers and because of that uncertain if being together is the right thing. Both are worlds apart in someways and so close in other ways. Funny, realistic and clever. The narration was absolutely brilliant. Not only can Joel Leslie tell a story in a way like no other, but when he’s narrating a sex scene, it’s like I’m in the room with them. So realistic and exhausting. I love his ability to bring these characters to life on so many levels. Well done!
I recommend this book.
