Some people like to laugh at people’s stupidity. I’m not one of them. Because the group transported was a family, there was a cross section of characters. And yes there was a learning curve for those who had never read a fantasy or played games that would help the “gods” who facilitated the world wee sarcastic and at times funny but they were also uncaring. Three of the 5 characters I really didn’t care if they died and having the turkey just seemed like it was overkill. The characters were well fleshed out and human. I just felt like the adage applied “you can’t fix stupid”.
