My biggest issue with this story is the characters themselves. They are inconsistent at best. Just the main character jumps between someone who is supposed to be a smart/intelligent college student to someone who needs literal hand holding to do anything. Even the personality of the two main characters seems to change at random. Reacting entirely differently to almost the same circumstances.
Overall the concept of the story is good, but the writing is mediocre and characters need work.
