I was very emotionally attached to this novel. Marin felt so familiar in unusual ways and I longed to see her happy again. I spent a good chunk of this story crying. The stream of consciousness of flipping from past to present was well executed and Marin felt like a real human being. Absolutely recommend for someone who wants to go on an emotional journey.
