Rarely is book 2 in a series better than book 1. The 1st book was very good. I really enjoyed the action and how the characters played off of one another. I thought in book one the female protagonists was shown to be a little weak. I guess due to the lack of field experience. It did work well with the books story though.
This book, book 2 is a total success. Both characters developed well and she became a much better field operative and blended well with the Navy Seal. This book is an outstanding continuation of book one.
Both books could be stand alone because the author finished the story in both books. No, I have to read the next book to find out what happens. The author is talented enough to make stories in both books have a beginning and end in each book.
Overall excellent job by both the narrator and author.
This narrator was new to me, I will be searching for his narrations.
