I was playing some tabletop games with friends when one of them called me by the MC’s name, I had no clue what they were talking about so they told me about this series. The name alone made me laugh so I figured I would pick it up. I have to say, with no small amount of joy, that this is hands down the best audible purchase I’ve made. Neven Iliev has a style that is, by my reckoning, wholly unique. I truly never know what to expect in his storytelling style. And Jeff Hays has a way of narration that truly allows you to fully immerse in the story in a way that only a few can.
Overall, while the story does go hard R a few times, I find this an exceptional read and recommend it to every reader I know (over 18 of course).
