I have listened and read each book in this series and laughed out loud so many times!! Very enjoyable humor between characters and the boss battle scenes are great! I really enjoy how something you think may be a filler or one liner ends up being a secret detail that is so important later! Pay attention to the small details they matter! I picked up this series on my kindle unlimited first as a quick story on a train trip and have ended up reading all that is available and purchasing all on audible too. The narration is great! You hear the irritation in Carl’s voice and it’s perfect! Donut’s comments that Mongo is upset when it is really her has just the right indignant tone to make me laugh. The microphone sound for donuts new headset is perfect!! Just annoying enough you know Carl is grinding his teeth and still loves that cat so much!! Keep on writing this great series!!! They will not break Carl!! He will win!! And no more water scenes for Donuts sake! 😉 haha
